Brett Favre Scandal
Recently, Brett Favre of the Minnesota Vikings has been involved in a 'sexting' scandal with a former New York Jets employee Jenn Sterger. Brett allegedly sent inappropriate pictures to Ms. Sterger. The NFL is investigating the validity of these allegations while Brett has not really commented on this. Brett Favre is married and his wife has been battling breast cancer. The question still remains if Brett did or did not send these inappropriate pictures. Also, from his play another question arises. Was this scandal on Brett's mind during the recent Monday Night Football game against the New York Jets. He looked quite sluggish during the first half of the game. After halftime, Brett bounced back but ended up throwing the game sealing interception late in the fourth quarter to drop his Vikings to 1-3.

Ben Roethlisberger Return to the Steelers
The 2010 Pittsburgh Steeler's have started the season without their starting quarterback. Not only this, they lost their two backups and were forced into playing their veteran fourth string quarterback, Charlie Batch. Roethlisberger's suspension was for the first four games of the 2010 season, which was shortened by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell from the original six game suspension. The Steeler's were 3-1 without 'Big Ben' and in many eyes of beloved black and gold fans this is a successful start without the former Super Bowl MVP. During this suspension, Roethlisberger was not even permitted to be a part of the organization and was forced to stay in shape and work out with local high school teams. On a bright note, Roethlisberger and the Steelers have a bye week to implement 'Big Ben' back into their starting lineup and work on the flow of the offense. The first game back for Ben will be on October 17th against AFC North rival, the Cleveland Browns. The Steelers, NFL teams, fans, and especially Roger Goodell will be anxiously awaiting the performance of the reformed Ben Roethlisberger.
